May 1st 2026 marks the 5th anniversary of the formation of The Bread and Roses Barge CIC. To celebrate how far we have come and achieved we invite you to a special event. You can meet the team, and take part in a scone making workshop led by a local baker, Paul.

About the event

Come aboard, have a cup of tea and meet the team.

You can also take part in the scone making workshop, and our local chef, Paul, will bake them for you in our lovely oven, so you can take them home for tea.

So that we can run the workshop efficiently could you let us know which time you would like, 11am 12pm, 1pm or 2pm.

Please note that parking is available outside St.Osyth pre school. The entrance is before turning in to Curve Water Park. If that is full, parking is available in the public car park directly opposite. Sailing Barge May is a few minutes walk away - take the footpath across Mill Dam Lake (St.Osyth Boatyard will be on your right). SB May is the first Barge undercover on the right hand side.
