Sailing Barge May: The Bread & Roses Barge CIC is a social enterprise which owns and manages the Thames Sailing Barge May.

 

The Bread and Roses Barge project was established by three women with extensive experience of sailing barges and the hospitality sector.

 

Their passion for creating a new modern, socially-committed future for SB May, with a clear community purpose will provide a supportive and welcoming space to women of all walks of life, through the gentle art of sourdough baking

 

The team has expanded to include Maisie our baker, Vikki, Robby, Belinda and Karen who all share the same ethos.
