About the event
Rye flour, Wholemeal flour, Buckwheat and Barley flour have interesting nutritional credentials. They have a high level of dietary fiber called beta-glucan, known to lower blood cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart diseases.
Also a good source of iron, B vitamins, and resistant starch which generally improves gut health.
During the course we will make 3 products from scratch with the flour mentioned above :
Rye and mix seeds bread loaf ;
Barley and sultana scones;
Sweet Potatoes and Buckwheat bread loaf.
