About the event
Cyanotype Workshops – Sunprint Sanctuary
Cyanotype is one of the oldest photographic processes, first discovered by John Herschel in 1842 and later beautifully explored by botanist Anna Atkins.
In my workshops, we slow down and reconnect with nature. Using sunlight, water, and natural materials like leaves and flowers, we create rich indigo blue prints through a simple, hands-on process — art and nature working together as one.
There are no screens. No rush. Just light, time, and creativity.
Cyanotype invites us to trust the process. To experiment. To let go of control. To enjoy the magic of watching something appear from almost nothing.
It’s calming, grounding, and wonderfully unpredictable — each print completely unique.
