About the event
We are thrilled to be hosting this workshop with Rachel Richards at the helm! Rachel has a natural ability to put people at ease - which is ideal when exploring a craft that few people have the opportunity to try! Rachel has spent much of her lifetime sailing during which she discovered a passion for rope work. You can find out more about her work here
Assisted by Vik, one of our volunteers (who works as Mae Kandoo ) , Rachel will guide you through the process of looping and winding the rope to create the Ocean Plait pattern. You will need plenty of space to work - so working on our wonderful table is ideal! Bookings have been limited to ensure everyone has room to work and to enable Rachel and Vikki to provide 1 to 1 support where needed.
