About the event
We know that word of mouth recommendations speak volumes! So, rather than what WE say, here's something to consider before getting to need to know basics!
Decided to learn something new and booked an afternoon aboard SB May to learn how to make a mat out of rope...I boarded this beautiful vessel to be greeted by Vicky one of the team involved in the Bread and Roses project. She immediately made me feel welcome and with the cosy ambiance created down below and the newly installed staircase smelling deliciously of fresh wood I felt very relaxed...Rachel - our very talented teacher - put us at ease insisting we would all go home with something to be proud of. She did not fail! After a few wrong turns and getting our lengths of rope tangled we all ended up with a beautifully crafted mat. It was relaxing and enjoyable and a way of meeting…
