Take your cyanotype practice further with alternative printing on unique and unexpected surfaces.

In this session, we will move beyond paper to explore printing on maps, shells, fabrics and other textured materials. You’ll experiment with layering, composition and exposure, discovering how different surfaces absorb the emulsion and respond to light to create rich, tactile results.

We will also explore:

• Working with found and natural objects to build more complex compositions

• Combining materials for layered, multi-surface pieces

• Subtle toning and mark-making to add depth and variation
