In 1964 SB MAY was brought out of trade from Mrss Cranfields by Tate & Lyle.
Everything was about to change for this mill barge who had spent 75 of her life going between Ipswich and London.
The company had great plans for her as their flag ship and she would spent the next 45 years under their flag traveling to many places around the UK, Europe and even Canada.
