Community Voluntary Services Tendring

In addition to the work required to become affiliated we have also been awarded 2 lots of funding. £1000 for cancer awareness has enabled us to invite women aboard to have open and frank conversations about cancer screening. We are collating responses from questionnaires regarding regular screening to be able to feed back our findings to funders.
In addition we held an open evening for discussion with Helen Paxman who found herself diagnosed with breast cancer requiring a mastectomy during the Covid pandemic lockdown
